Vide no. CTOW/Renewal/JAL/2018/7455043 dated 24.04.2018 valid upto 31.03.2023 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. Vide no. CTOA/Renewal/JAL/2018/7454891 dated 24.04.2018 valid upto 31.03.2023 for processing of paddy @ 09 TPH and rice @ 03 TPH.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 43.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Thereafter, the industry has applied for renewal of the consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for same production. The industry has deposited fee Rs. 102600/-<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>vide<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>UTR No. 170133929 dated 15.03.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>13400/- vide<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>UTR No. 170133929 dated 15.03.2023 as balance fee and Rs.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>102600/-<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>vide<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>UTR No. 984466068 dated<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>15.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981, Rs.13400/-<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>vide<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>UTR No. 984466068 dated<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>15.03.2023 as balance fee and Rs.3600/- vide<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>UTR No. 984466068 dated 15.03.2023 as NOC fee., which is adequate upto 30.09.2032 under the both Acts.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 43.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->As per office order issued by the Head Office, Patiala vide letter no. 59 dated 02.02.2016 and as per decision of officer meeting held at Head Office Patiala on 08.05.2018 that all the industries under orange and green category shall be processed on the basis of documents submitted by the industry without site verification.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 43.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has not been visited and on the basis of documents submitted by the industry along with application, it has been observed that the industry is an orange category rice mill unit and has installed 01 no. dryer and 1 no. Sheller with cyclone separator inside its premises. The domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation. The industry has submitted compliance report to the consent conditions earlier granted to it.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 7.0pt;"><strong>Recommendation:-</strong> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions and special conditions that: -</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 43.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em>The industry will continue to comply with the new code of practice prescribed by Punjab Govt. Department of Science, Technology and Environment vide order no. 932 dated 15.10.2013. </em></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 43.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em>The industry shall upgrade or install adequate air pollution control device to achieve the amended emission standard, if any amendment made. </em></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 43.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em>The industry shall not make any expansion inside the present premises without obtaining prior permission from the Board. </em></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 8.85pt .0001pt 43.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em>The industry will be bound to comply with the zoning regulation of the master plan in force and the grant of consent by the Board will not vest any right on the industry w.r.t. other stipulations by any authority or the zoning regulations of the master plan.</em></p>
