<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry is engaged in manufacturing Crank Shaft, Crown Wheels/Pinions @ 100 MTPD. The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2018/7070854 dated 09/04/2018 valid upto 31/03/2023 and under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2018/7168158 dated 09/04/2018 valid upto 31/03/2023 subject to the certain conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has deposited Rs. 12,74,400/- vide UTR No. ICICR52023030600854163 dated 06.03.2023 (Rs. 10,80,000/- water, Rs. 14400/- NOC regularization fee & Rs. 12,74,400/- vide UTR No. ICICR52023030600847125 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dated 06.03.2023 (Rs. 10,80,000/- water, Rs. 14400/- NOC regularization fees <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>fee against the fixed assets of Rs. 371.77 Cr.. The industry has submitted consent fees valid upto 31.03.2028. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents for the manufacturing of product Auto & Non auto components (cranks shaft, crown wheel, Pinion, Diff Case etc.) @ 170 MTPD. The industry has submitted that the increase in production capacity is attributed to increase in machinery. The industry falls in industrial zone, as such it can be regularized. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The site of industry was visited by the EE alongwith AEE of this office on 21.03.2023 and it was observed as under :-</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was in operation and engaged in manufacturing of Crank Shaft, Crown Wheels/Pinions. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed 03 no. electric hardening/tempering furnaces, auto CNC machines, Lathe machines and other general machinery. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed two D.G. sets of capacities 380 KVA, 180 KVA, with canopy. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">There is no generation of trade effluent from the process, only domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation/gardening/lawns after treatment in STP. </span></li>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.03.2028 with usual conditions.</span></p>
