<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It is intimated that the industry is small scale red category unit. It was granted consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH4/2016/4781991 dated 02/12/2016, upto 30/06/2021 and under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH4/2019/9419226 dated 03/04/2019, which was extended upto 30/06/2021 for production of Electrical control Panels @ 200 Number/Year.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS on 11.03.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The industry has deposited consent fee Rs. 28,350/- vide R.No. N337211736160068 dated 03.12.2021 & Rs. 90,450/- vide R.No. 981503018 dated 11/03/2023 under the Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 31950/- (Rs. 28,350/- under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 3,600/- as NOC regularization fee) vide no. N337211736175823 dated 03.12.2021 & Rs. 1,01,250/- (Rs. 90,450/- under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 10,800/- NOC regularization fee) vide 332020496 dated 11.03.2023 and against gross value of fixed assets Rs. 1,19,78,205.32 and plant & machinery Rs. 18,07,545.82 as on 20.01.2023. After adjusting the penalty for late application and NOC regularization fee, the total fee deposited is adequate upto 30.06.2030.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The industry was visited by undersigned on 21.03.2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>1.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in process of manufacturing of electric panels.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>2.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry is generating trade effluent from the phosphating section. The industry has provided 07 tanks of the process area.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>3.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has made agreement CETP operator i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Limited, Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana for lifting of trade effluent @ 2500 Ltr/month, which is valid upto 31.05.2025.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>4.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has provided separate register and is maintaining the record of water consumption in process as well as effluent lifted by CETP operator i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Limited.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>5.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has provided water meter on the supply to the process area & reading during the visit was noted to be 14.3 KL.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>6.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry is maintaining the record of water consumed in the process. The water meter reading on 20.08.2022 was noted to be 1.3 KL. As such the industry has consumed 13 KL of fresh water in the process since 20.08.2022 and as per the lifting receipts it has got lifted 8.5 KL to CETP operator i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Limited, Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>7.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has provided the storage tank of size (L=3mx W=2mx H=2m) and depth of the effluent stored was 2'4". As such, 4200 Liter for trade effluent was stored within the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>8.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>Therefore, the percentage trade effluent generation (Lifted= 8.5+ Stored in tank=4.2 = 12.7 KL) viz-a-viz fresh water consumption = 13 KL. As such the efficiency comes out as 97 %.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>9.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry is discharging domestic effluent into sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>10.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has installed one electrically operated powder coating section provided with cyclone separator as APCD and adequate stack height along with sampling arrangement facility.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>11.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has installed one electric oven for baking purposes.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeader" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span>12.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has installed one D.G. set of capacity 32 KVA equipped with canopy and adequate stack height. <span> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; background: white; font-size: 12pt;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for five years i.e. upto 30.06.2028, please.</span></p>
