CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2022/19367209 & CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2022/19367203 both dated 13.09.2022, for manufacturing of Plywood, Plyboard, Ply, Board, Laminated Board, Door, Panel, Furniture, Saw Mill, Veneer, Flush, etc of Same Nature @ 3000 Square meters/day, valid upto 12.03.2023 each, subject to condition mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 were issued to the PSPCL authorities to restore the electricity connection of the industry temporary upto 12.03.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Plywood, Plyboard, Ply, Board, Laminated Board, Door, Panel, Furniture, Saw Mill, Veneer, Flush, etc of Same Nature @ 3000 m<sup>2</sup>/day. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has already deposited Rs. 2,28,000/- (2,11,500/- Water + 16000 NOC + 500 application form fee) vide UTR no. ICICR42021111700503287 dated 17.11.2021 under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 2,11,500/- vide UTR no. ICICR42021111700503256 dated 17.11.2021 under Air Act, 1981. Consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">upto 30.09.2031</span><span style="color: red;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">under both acts. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 468.0pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 15.03.2023 alongwith scientific staff<span style="color: red;"> </span>and it was observed that:- </span></p>

The industry has stored only wood to be used as fuel in thermopack. The industry has provided gravity dust settling chamber followed by cyclone separator as APCD with the thermopack. Air emission samples were collected during visit to the industry and as per analysis report, concentration of SPM was 284 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup>.</span></p>

DTP had already issued its NOC vide above said memo. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.55pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt -7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thus, the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
