The empty ink containers are also being stored. The representative was advised to provide dedicated hazardous waste room and make agreement with authorized agencies for disposal of hazardous waste of category 5.2, 33.1 and 35.3. The industry is yet to make agreement. </span></p>

But, the project proponent has mentioned address in the application form is “EL 634, Phase-9, Industrial area, Mohali”.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin;">However, no reply has been received from the industry till date.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin;">In view of above, it is recommended that ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be refused, please.</span></p> |
