<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the colony has applied for consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS under small scale. As per C.A certificate submitted by the project, the total fixed assets are Rs. 18.13 crores and competency to decide the case lies with Chief Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note, RO has reported that the site of the project was visited by AEE on 07.03.2023 and observed that the site is located in the revenue estate of Vill Sofi Pind, H.B 231, Jalandhar in an area measuring 15.23 acre having 307 residential plots, 40 shops and 1 nursery school. The colony has submitted CLU issued by Department of Town & Country Planning vide letter no. 3336 dated 27.12.2019 according to which site falls in residential land use as per Master Plan, Jalandhar (2009-31) and permission has been granted to use 15.23 acre land for residential purpose. The colony has submitted license issued by JDA vide no. JDA-2020/363 dated 14.01.2020 for setting up colony namely “Cantt County” at Village Sofi Pind, (H.B 231) Jalandhar on a land measuring 15.23 acre under rule 11(3) PAPRA Act, 1995. The colony has also submitted site plan approved by JDA vide no. JDA/2020/41 dated 21/01/2020. About 15 houses have been completed and about 50 plots are under construction. Further, all the 40 shops have been constructed and about 5 are currently occupied.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The project proponent has provided STP having components collection tank, aeration tank, tube settler, filtration unit, treated effluent storage tank. The treated effluent is being utilized within the green area developed by the project proponent. The sewer line leading to STP Bambianwal has been laid near the project site and the project proponent informed that the sewer connection with the STP will be made shortly. The project proponent has already submitted MC Jalandhar letter no. 1590 dated 16.03.2022 issued to JDA regarding allowing sewer connection to the proposed colony. The project proponent has provided 4 no. compost pits to handle the wet waste being generated from the colony. The project proponent is complying with the conditions of NOC granted to it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the project upto 30.09.2026 with usual conditions and additional conditions that:-</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;"> </span></p>
