<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a small scale orange category unit and has applied for fresh consents and as per agenda note RO has reported that the industry was visited by officer on 17.03.2023 and observed that the industry is engaged in manufacturing of finished vices @ 150 No/day. The industry has installed one powder coating with Cyclone separator as APCD. The industry has installed one shot blast machine with bag filter house as APCD. The industry has also installed one D.G set of capacity 65 KVA with canopy and attached to stack of adequate height. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has submitted electricity bill as proof of date of commissioning, according to which the industry is commissioned on 22.12.2017. The industry has submitted building plan approved from Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions and special conditions that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that hazardous wastes of all categories are collected properly & disposed off to the authorized companies and shall maintain all the records as per provisions of HWM Rules.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>(Competency:- SEE-J). </span></p>
