<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-left: 46pt; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;"> Now the industry has applied for fresh consents and as per agenda note the industry was visited on 09.03.2023 and it was observed that the industry has installed STP of capacity 10 KLD for treatment of domestic effluent. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation after treatment through STP. The cooling water is being re-circulated. The industry has submitted building plan approved from Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has been granted CLU vide letter no. 1083 dated 12/8/2021</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-right: 7.1pt; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;"> </span></strong><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2026 with usual conditions and special conditions that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p>
