<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the facility for processing/Dismantling of E-waste @ 12 MTD which is valid upto 30/06/2025 subject to suitable conditions.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">Now, the facility has applied for Consent to Establish the modernization of the existing facility and for the Dismantling & Recycling of E-waste @ 7.5 MTD. The industry was visited by the undersigned on 22/03/2023 and it was observed as under: -</p>

Road, Ludhiana for 3 years i.e. upto 19.11.2023 for sale and disposal of its Ferrous Waste.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The facility has made an agreement with M/s Royal Faiz Recycling Pvt. Ltd., Plot no. G-235, UPSIDC, Industrial Area, MG Road, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pardesh for 3 years i.e. upto 30.09.2023 for the disposal of its Non-Ferrous Waste. It is mentioned in the agreement that M/s Royal Faiz Recycling Pvt. Ltd., is the certified recycler and authorized to recycle Non-ferrous metal by the Uttar Pardesh Pollution Control Board.</p>

Only Domestic effluent @ 4.5 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank and filters.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">As per the application and documents submitted by the industry, it has proposed to install One CRT cutting booth and 1 PCB recycling machine both with cyclone separator as APCD and with adequate stack height. The industry has also proposed to install one oil-fired furnace for recycling of non-ferrous metals recovered from E-waste with wet scrubber as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has also proposed to install 3 dismantling tables and 2 dismantling platforms which will be attached with existing APCD i.e. Multi-cyclone attached with dismantling tables. The facility is having space of 3600 square meter which is adequate for dismantling of 7 MTD. The industry falls in Industrial zone, as such, site is suitable for such type of expansions.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">In view of above, if approved, Consent to Establish (Expansion) may be granted to the facility for modernization of existing plant for recycling of E-waste @ 7 MTD subject to suitable conditions and special conditions as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The Product from recycling process will be sold only to users or other recyclers having valid CTO from SPCBs/PCCs. Any hazardous waste generated during the recycling processing will be sent to TSDF.</p>

Unloading of Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT), LCD/LED/Plasma TV, Refrigerator, Air Conditioners and fluorescent and other mercury containing lamps should be carried out under supervision in such a way to avoid breakage.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The facility shall have facilities for destroying or permanently deleting data stored in the memory of end-of-life products (Hard Disk, Telephones, Mobile phones) either through shredding or grinding or through data eraser.</p>
