<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;">·<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;">·<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Regional Office visited the industry on 23.02.2023 and reported that the industry was not in operation, however some raw material was found stored at site, but no ETP sludge of pulp & paper mill was found stored. Settling tanks provided to utilize the entire effluent back into the process. Pucca storage floor provided with shed for storage of ETP sludge of pulp & paper mill alongwith proper slop & spillage collection pit. Saplings of trees has ben planted all along the boundary wall. Septic tank provided for treatment of the domestic effluent and provision has been made for disposal of treated effluent onto land for plantation. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;">·<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry is complying with conditions imposed in the consent to establish granted under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and with SOPs framed by the CPCB for such type of unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of above, if approved, consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry for six months, subject to the following special conditions:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1. The industry shall not procure and process any hazardous waste as prescribed in Schedule-I appended to the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 till it gets the certificate of registration / passbook as recycler /re-processor from the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2. This consent to operate is valid only to facilitate the industry to obtain registration/passbook as recycler /re-processor from the Board as required under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, which shall be obtained during the validity period of this consent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3. The industry shall apply afresh for obtaining consent to operate as required under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 after obtaining certificate of registration / passbook as recycler /re-processor from the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4. The industry shall comply with the standard operating procedures framed by CPCB for utilization of process & primary sludge of ETP of pulp & paper industry.</span></p>
