As per agenda note, the industry was visited by the officers of this office on 17.03.2023 and observed that the industry was in operation during visit. The industry has install 2 no. induction furnaces of capacity 0.500 TPH and 0.750 TPH with common bag filter house as APCD with adequate stack height. During visit, induction furnace was not in operation so sampling could not be carried out. The industry has installed 7 no. oil fired annealing furnace with adequate stack 5 no. was in operation and 2 no. were not in operational condition. The industry has installed one galvanizing furnace with adequate height. The industry has installed 3 no. shot blasting machine with bag house filter. The industry has installed 1 no. DG set with canopy. There is no source of generation trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has submitted approved building plan from Competent Person under Factory Act, Punjab. The site falls in Focal Point, as such expansion can be regularized.</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; text-indent: -21.25pt;"> </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p>
