<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Looking at the previous file record, the industry is located in non-designated area i.e. industrial mix land use zone, however, as per current DTP letter, it is mixed land use. However, as per amendment in unified zoning regulation of Master Plans dated 24.09.2021, all Orange and Red category of industries along with other activities permissible in Mix Land Use Zone shall be allowed along the highway/ major roads beyond 3 kilometers from the limits of other Corporation and Class-A town limits, and 2 kilometers from other towns. Hence, the suitability of site cannot be ascertained by this office. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">In view of the above, it is recommended that the industry be issued show cause notice before refusal of 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with an opportunity to file reply within 15 days.</span></p>
