<p>1. As the industry is to use Hazardous waste as a resource, is covered under Rule 8. </p>
<p>2. Where, SOPs are prepared, the industry is required to submit its proposal in line with the SOPs. Otherwise, the industry has to approach CPCB for obtaining permission from CPCB. No such compliance/ proposal received from industry. As industry civil and mechanical works are at very advnce stage, it is imperative that indutry should plan its compliance as per rules. </p>
<p>3. Not only Hazrdous waste is to be utilized but also to be generated from process as well as treatment systems as zinc dross, as and skimming will contain zinc content besides the category mentioned. Hence proposal is incomplete.</p>
<p>4. RO again has not evaluated proposal technically. </p>
<p>5. Issue SCN with short hearing to decide consent case. The industry has to make a presentaion giving deatils of manufacturing activities, material chemistry and balance, hazrdous waste utilizition as per CPCB SOPs, if any prescribed and management of HW, waste water and air pollution being generated from process and allied activities. Alternatively, it will submit the copy of application if any filed with CPCB under Rule 8 seeking permission for using HW waste. </p>
<p>6. RO and EE ZL to come up after studying with details of compliance/ technical requirements required in such cases as per rules . </p>
