<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">It is submitted that the industry is a small scale red category industry. The industry has been granted CTE vide CTE/Fresh/LDH4/2022/18190892 dated 06.05.2022 valid upto 05.05.2023 for manufacturing of Formaldehyde @ 200 MTD and Resign/Glue @ 300 MTD and for trade effluent @ 4.0 KLD and domestic effluent @ 2.0 KLD onto land for plantation. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of Formaldehyde @ 200 MTD and disposing trade effluent @ 2.0 KLD and domestic effluent @ 1.5 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment through ETP. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">The industry has deposited consent fee of amounting to Rs. 28,800/- vide R. No. 738692895 dated 16.03.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 28,800/- vide R. No. 62810027 dated 16.03.2023 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 05.05.2025<span style="color: red;"> </span>against the C.A certificate as gross value of fixed assets Rs. 3,68,84,762/- and plant & machinery Rs. 2,95,86,152.77/- <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>as on 28.02.2023. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by undersigned on 21.03.2023 and it was observed as under :-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">2.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry will be engaged in</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> manufacturing of </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">manufacturing of Formaldehyde using Methanol as main raw material.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">3. During visit, the construction and fabrication work was going at the site.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">4.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has installed four no. under-ground tanks of each capacity 90 KL for storage of Methanol. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">5.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has provided cylindrical reaction chamber for mixing Methanol with silver to produce Formaldehyde. The industry has also provided cooling tower and cooling water is re-circulated back in the process. The fugitive emissions generated from these process will be controlled by mixing cooling water with the reaction chamber <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>in the <a name="_Hlk130646986"></a>cylindrical tanks and after that <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>the emission will pass through <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>cylindrical pipes which is provided with adequate stack height and sampling arrangement. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">6.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has provided two cylindrical tanks of capacity 40 KL each for storing final product i.e. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Formaldehyde which will be received in these tanks from the pipe network from reaction chamber.</span></p>

D.G. set of capacity 200 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">10 The industry has also been granted EC for the project (which is attached).</span></p>
