<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 3cm; text-align: justify;">Earlier, the Consent to Establish was granted to the industry for the establishment of a Dyeing unit and for the discharge of trade effluent @ 240 KLD which is valid up to 09/02/2022. The same has been further extended upto 08/05/2023 subject to suitable conditions.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 3cm; text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry was visited by undersigned on 22/03/2023 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has completed the installation of its machinery, ETP and boiler and ready for operation. The industry has not started its operation yet for want of Consent to Operate from the Board.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed its ETP of capacity 500 KLD and has developed plantation area of around 5 acres as per the site plan. The total plantation area as per the site plan is 6.5 acres.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 1 soft-flow machine of 150 kg capacity, 3 soft-flow machines of 300 kg capacity and 2 soft-flow machine of 450 kg capacity. As per the SOP prescribed by the Board, the maximum trade effluent from the industry is expected to be 312 KLD if the unit comes in operation for 24 hours. The industry has developed sufficient plantation area as per the discharge expected.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has also installed Boiler of capacity 5 TPH with Multi-cyclone separator as APCD with adequate stack height.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 3cm; text-align: justify;">In view of above, if approved, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30/06/2027 subject to suitable conditions and the additional condition that the industry will submit the Air emission analysis report and Effluent sample analysis report from Board’s Lab within two months.</p>
