| Clarification Note: |
A. The industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/FGS/2022/17846025 dated 16/04/2022 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/FGS/2022/17846016 dated 16/04/2022 both valid upto 31/03/2023 for the manufacturing of Steel Ingots & Billets @ 480 MTD, Flats/TMT Bars, Rounds, Channel, H.R. Coil etc. @ 452 MTD with special conditions as under:
1. The industry shall complete the work of installation of 24 x 7 air monitoring system, within 15 days.
2. The industry shall complete the installation work of manual Continuous Ambient Air Quality monitoring stations within and outside the plant (at least at four locations one within and three outside the plant area at an angle of 120° each), covering upwind and downwind directions, within 03 months.
3. The unit shall either carry out plantation in 33% of total industrial plot area within 6 months or, in order to comply with clause of mandatory 33% plantation if industry want to carry out plantation in M.C land, it should get its EC amended accordingly within 03 months and meanwhile shall carry maximum possible plantation in its premises.
4. The industry shall comply with the CSR commitments, as per the conditions mentioned in the EC issued to it by SEIAA, Punjab, within 03 months.
5. The industry shall comply with all the conditions on which it was granted environmental clearance by SEIAA under EIA notification dated 14/9/2006.
Please submit point wise compliance of above said special conditions in annotated form.
B. The industry has increased its fixed assets from Rs. 3914.46 Lacs to Rs. 4156.20 Lacs. Kindly submit the detail of the same.
