The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention &<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS of the Board for manufacturing of Auto Parts @ 05 MTD. The industry has deposited Rs. 72800/- Vide UTR/No. N350222250775974 dated 16.12.2022 and Rs. 44800/- Vide UTR/No. N169211537399697 dated 18.06.2021 under Water Act 1974, Rs. 72800/- Vide UTR/No. N350222250759766 dated 16.12.2022 and Rs. 44800/- Vide UTR/No. N169211537410773 dated 18.06.2021<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 5600/- vide UTR No. N169211537411250 dated 18.06.2021 and Rs. 1800/- vide UTR No. N350222250760337 dated 16.12.2022 and Rs. 5000/- vide UTR No.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>N169211537436828 dated 18.06.2021 and Rs. 500/- vide UTR No. N169211537443624 dated 18.06.2021 as application form fee, which are adequate upto 30.06.2027.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: .1pt 6.7pt .0001pt 46.0pt;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has submitted electricity bill as proof of date of commissioning, according to which the industry is commissioned on 28.12.2017.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: .1pt 6.7pt .0001pt 46.0pt;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>industry was visited by officer of this office on 27.03.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>operation and is engaged in manufacturing of Auto Parts @ 05 MTD. The industry has installed one induction furnace of capacity 0.5 TPH with bag filter house as APCD. The industry has submitted feasibility report from M/s Maxim Solutions w.r.t APCD installed with its induction furnace. The industry has installed two shot blast machines with bag filter house as APCD. The industry has not installed any D.G set in its premises. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has submitted building plan approved from Director of Factories, Punjab.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-right: 7.1pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-hansi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></strong>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2027 with usual conditions and with special condition that the industry will get its stack emission sample analyzed from Board’s Lab within 01 month.
