<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The application of the industry has been scrutinized and it is observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -13.5pt; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt .25in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">1. The industry is required to clarify the detail regarding change in raw material & product, as it has submitted application for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 but same are different from the earlier consents granted to it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -13.5pt; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt .25in;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-bidi-language: HI;">2. The industry shall comply with the provisions of the Plastic Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011 and the Punjab Plastic Carry Bags (Manufacture, Usage & Disposal) Control Act, 2005 and amendments/ notifications issued by the MoEF/ Govt. of Punjab time to time. The industry is requested to submit compliance of the status w.r.t. obtaining registration under the Said Rules.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -13.5pt; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt .25in;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-bidi-language: HI;">3. The representative or the industry contacted telephonically and requested to return the application as it needed to apply under varied consent to operate.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">If approved the application of the industry may be returned with the request to attend to the aforesaid observations and resubmit the case accordingly.</span></p> |
