<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> It is submitted that the industry is a (fortified rice unit) small scale green category unit and has obtained NOC from the Board vide no. CTE/Fresh/FZR/2021/17434448 dated 20.12.2021, expired on 19.12.2022 for manufacturing of Fortified Rice @ 3600 Kg/day by using Rice Broken, Vitamin & Minerals @ 3600 Kgs/day as raw material under green category in the revenue estate of village Romana Khadoor (H.B. 134), Tehsil Zira, Distt. Ferozepur. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> The industry has deposited Rs. 19200/- each vide UTR/Ref. No. SDL124043500 and SDL124043651 dated 20/02/2023 as consent to operate fee under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, respectively, which is adequate upto 31.12.2026 under each Act, against the fixed assets of Rs. 79.03 Lacs as on 08.03.2023 as per earlier CA certificate submitted by it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: -.9pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> Accordingly, the site of the industry was visited by undersigned on 20.03.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry was not in operation. The industry has completed the construction activity at the site and installed machinery to manufacture fortified rice. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry is not generating any trade effluent from the process and only domestic effluent is being generated, same is being discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has planted trees along its boundary. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has not installed any type of boiler / furnace / dryer in the premises. As such no fuel is being used in the process. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided pulverizer with closed system.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> Keeping in view of above consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2026 for manufacturing of Fortified rice for production of Fortified Rice @ 3600 Kg/day by using Rice Broken, Vitamin & Minerals @ 3600 Kgs/day as raw material under green category with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</span></p>
