<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The rice sheller unit has now attached site plan clearly showing the location of air pollution control devices/ chimneys with the shelling unit and paddy pre-cleaner before drier. Both these pollution control devices/ chimneys are proposed to be installed in Khasra no. 67//13/2. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As per the report of Tehsildar, Patiala issued vide no. 1884/Reader-1 dated 01.02.2023 addressed to SDM Patiala, there is no educational institute, wild life/ bird sanctuary, protected monument, historical, religious place within 500 m from the site of the rice shelling unit. Also, Village phirni & residential area is more than 500 m away from khasra no. 67//13/1 out of the proposed site.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In continuation to the above reprot, Tehsildar, Patiala vide his report dated 27.03.2023 has also mentioned that khasra no. 67//13/2 out of the proposed site is also more than 500 m away from the village phirni.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The site has already visited by me on 15.03.2023 and it was observed that khasra no. 67//13/2, where pollution control devices/ chimneys are proposed and which is farther than khasra no. 67//13/1 is more than 500 m away from the village phirni, wild life sanctuary, Zoo, residential area, education institute, historical & religious place.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Therefore, CTE can be granted to the rice sheller unit on specific condition that it installs pollution control devices/ chimneys in khasra no. 67//13/2 as proposed in the site plan and that when the rice sheller unit applied for approved building plans of the same may be obtained from the Director of Factories of Punjab for confirmation of the same in order to maintain distance of 500 m from the required parameters as per notification dated 15/10/2013 of the State Govt. </p>
