As per agenda note the industry was visited on 06.03.2023 and observed that the industry has installed 1 no. induction furnace of </span>0.150 TPH<span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> capacity with bag house filter as APCD. The industry has submitted feasibility report w.r.t APCD installed with its induction furnace. The industry has installed one wood fired baby boiler with adequate stack height. The industry has installed 1 no. shot blasting machine. The industry has also installed one D.G set of capacity 150 KVA with canopy and attached to stack of adequate height. The industry has installed 06 no injection molding machines. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has submitted building plan approved from competent person under Factory Act, Punjab. The industry has submitted certificate from DTP vide letter no. 1917 dated 07.10.2022 according to which the industry falls in General Industrial Zone.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of report of Regional Office, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2028 with usual conditions and with special conditions that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall get its stack emission samples of induction furnace analyzed from Board’s Lab within 01 month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">The industry shall appoint dedicated staff for operation / maintenance of APCD / collection system, within one month. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">The industry shall implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prepared by Punjab State Council for Science & Technology for APCD in toto so as to achieve the prescribed standards on a regular basis.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that hazardous wastes of all categories are collected properly & disposed off to the authorized companies by executing agreements and shall maintain all the records as per provisions of the HWM Rules.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">10)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. </span></p>
