Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consents. RO has processed the consent cases without inspection on the basis of circular issued by the Board and as per decision of officer meeting held at Head Office Patiala on 08.05.2018 as the industry falls under orange category.</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per application applied by the industry, the industry is engaged in manufacturing of Auto Parts. The industry has installed 1 no. induction furnace of capacity </span>0.300 TPH <span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;">with bag house filter as APCD, 1 no. shot blasting machine with bag house filter as APCD. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; background-color: white;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with usual conditions and special conditions:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;">1)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall operate air pollution control device (APCD) regularly and efficiently to achieve the prescribed norms.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall get its stack emission samples of induction furnace analyzed from Board’s Lab within 01 month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">The industry shall appoint dedicated staff for operation / maintenance of APCD / collection system, within one month. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">The industry shall implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prepared by Punjab State Council for Science & Technology for APCD in toto so as to achieve the prescribed standards on a regular basis.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not use any un-authorized fuel and shall use fuel only for which consent is granted by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that hazardous wastes of all categories are collected properly & disposed off to the authorized companies by executing agreements and shall maintain all the records as per provisions of the HWM Rules.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. </span></p>
