Bhattian, Tehsil & Distt-gurdaspur. </span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The subject cited industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS mode. Earlier, the consent to operate Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the Brick Kiln vide online reference no. CTOA/Renewal/GRP/2021/15466415 dated 29/04/2021, which was valid upto 30/09/2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has already deposited Rs. 12,600/- vide Ch. No. 496249 dated 19/06/2020, Rs. 14400/- vide Ch. No. 215866 dated 30/06/2020 & Rs. 1800/- as consent to operate fee under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, which is adequate upto 30/09/2026 against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 22,67,800/- as on 31/01/2023. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has submitted completion certificate issued provisional certificate by PSCST, Chandigarh vide letter no. PSCST/CC/1077 dated 05/03/2020 intimating that the industry has constructed induced draft Brick Kiln with length of the miana 288’ which is more than the recommended distance. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per policy of the Board and in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016, the consent cases of Orange Category units are to be processed without visiting them.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">In view of the above, may if approved “Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30/09/2023 subject to the suitable conditions along with the special conditions that the brick Kiln will make necessary technological modifications suggested by the technology provider in a time-bound manner as decided by the PPCB.</span></p> |
