Mills, Waraichan Road, Samana, Patiala was granted Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. RO/PTA/WPC/2006/R-243 dated 11.12.2006 extended upto 31.03.2012 and under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. RO/PTA/APC/2006/R-683 dated 11.12.2006 extended upto 10.07.2008 for processing of paddy @ 4.5 T/hr. (without dryer) subject to suitable conditions and special conditions as mentioned therein. Thereafter, the unit had not submitted application to Board for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, as per record file.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Now, M/s Suresh Kumar Chaman Lal has applied for obtaining fresh Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and varied consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 (for change of name) for operation of said unit for manufacturing of Rice @ 2.0 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>T/Hour by using Paddy @ 3.0 T/Hour as raw material alongwith Rice Bran @ 0.10 T/Hour, Phuck @ 0.15 T/Hour,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Rice Husk @0.66<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>T/Hour under orange category with requisite documents. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry vide letter dated 17.02.2023 has undertaken as under:</span></p>

Mills was established in the year 1987 on land measuring 24K-13M, to whom, the consents under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act. 1981 were granted/extended from time to time, which were valid up to 31/03/2012) for the processing of Paddy @ 3.0 T/hr. so as to manufacture Rice @ 2.0 T/hr.</span></p>

Rajesh Kumar Goyal S/o Sh. Sohan Lal & Sh. Suresh Goyal S/o Sh. Sohal Lal purchased the said sheller. However, they failed to obtain consents from the Board.</span></p>

Rajesh Kumar Goyal & Sh. Suresh Goyal mortgaged the said sheller as security against the loan taken from Indian Bank by their firm named M/s Shivani Traders (P) Limited.</span></p>

Roshan Lal, Sh. Sunil Garg S/o Sh. Chaman Lal, Sh. Husan Lal S/o Sh. Roshan Lal and Sh. Suresh Kumar S/o Sh. Roshan Lal, who are the partners of the firm named M/s Suresh Kumar Chaman Lal, purchased the said sheller from Indian Bank at a price of Rs. 293.45 lacs and incurred Rs. 23.39 lacs as registration fee to the Govt.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has deposited Rs. 45000.0/- vide Receipt No. 987030296 dated 20.02.2023 on account of consent fee under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 45000.0/- vide Receipt No. 665841586 dated 20.02.2023 under the Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 45000.0/- vide Receipt No. 987030296 dated 20.02.2023, Rs. 45000.0/- vide Receipt No. 665841586 dated 20.02.2023 as penalty fee under each acts. The industry has also deposited Rs. 10800/- vide Receipt No. 665841586 dated 20.02.2023 as NOC regularization fee. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2024 against the gross fixed assets of Rs. 318.42 lakh as on 31.01.2023 as per CA certificate submitted by the industry. </span></p>

Jasvir Singh, Competent Person of Director of Factories, Punjab under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 in new name M/s Suresh Kumar Chaman Lal Waraichan Road, Samana, Patiala. The industry has submitted compliance report of the conditions of consent granted to previous unit under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. </span></p>

The HDPE warp knitted fabric be made of 100% virgin high density polymer of at least 70 gm/m2 weight having 40-45 hole/inch2 to prevent wind blowing of stored husk. </span></p>
