The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2022/18913592 dated 22/07/2022 valid upto 31/03/2027 and under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2021/14638209 dated 05/04/2021 valid upto 31/03/2023 with suitable conditions mentioned therein for the using pet coke or wood as fuel in the boiler. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents. The industry has proposed to use rice husk / wood as fuel in its existing boiler, which may kindly be pursued. The industry had earlier deposited Rs. 264000/- vide R.No. 62/4741 dated 07.06.2017 & now deposited Rs. 40000/- vide UTR/Reference No. KKBK210399748516 dated 08.02.2021 & Rs. 105600/- vide UTR/Reference No. KKBK210698042318 dated 10.03.2021 under the Air Act, 1981. The fee deposited is adequate upto 31.03.2023.The industry has not verified the fee submitted through online mode if any.           The site of industry was visited by the EE and AEE of this office on 22.03.2023 and it was observed as under :- <span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; color: windowtext; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">  1.   The industry was in operation during visit and is engaged in dyeing and washing processes. 2.   The industry has installed ETP for treatment of effluent generated from dyeing process & STP for treatment of domestic effluent. The treated effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation. 3.   The industry has developed plantation area at about 6.25 acres of land for discharge of its trade and domestic effluent. 4.   The industry has installed boiler of 3 TPH capacity and is using rice husk as a fuel. The industry has provided multi cyclone separator as a APCD. The boiler as well as APCD were found in operation. 5.   The industry has installed 01 no. thermopac of 6 kcal and using wood as fuel in its thermopac. The industry has installed another stand-by boiler of 2 TPH, which is also being operated at wood. The stand-by boiler was not in operation, during visit. 6.   The industry has installed 03 no. of D.G sets of capacity 1010 KVA with acoustic enclosure, 500 KVA and 400 KVA fitted with canopies. 7.   The industry guided to provide colour coding on all the pipelines carrying effluent.                    It is appropriate to mention here that the industry was earlier running its boilers / thermopack on pet coke as a fuel, however has changed the fuel to rice husk/wood. The industry has now applied with its changed fuel. The industry was recently granted consent to operate under Water Act,1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2022/18913592 dated 22.07.2023 valid upto 31.03.2027 subject to suitable terms and conditions. <span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; color: windowtext; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">          Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted after the industry submits/ verify the fee, with the special condition that stack emission samples shall be collected within 30 days. <span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; color: windowtext; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">
