<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 under orange category. The industry has deposited Rs.29000/- vide UTR.No. IBKL230309417594 dated 09.03.2023 under Water Act 1974 and Rs.34000/- (Including Rs. 2900 as NOC fee and Rs. 500/- as application form fee) vide UTR.No. IBKL230309417455 dated 09.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 30.09.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 28.03.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit and is engaged in manufacturing of chappals. The industry has installed 1 no. baby boiler with cyclone separator and adequate stack height. The industry has not installed any D.G set inside its premises. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. Entire cooling is being re-circulated. The industry has submitted building plan from approved architect from Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p> |
