There is an increase in the cost of fixed assets by Rs. 136 lakhs and the industry has submitted details of the increase in the cost of fixed assets which is mainly attributed towards building repair, ladles for carrying liquid metals, Rolling mill machinery parts, handling equipment and SPM monitoring. The industry has also deposited NOC regularization fee of Rs. 8400/-, which is adequate.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; margin: 9.8pt 5.6pt .0001pt 11.55pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">It is pertinent to mention here that the industry has already obtained Environmental Clearance under EIA notification dated 14/09/2006 vide no J- 11011/398/2011-IA II (I) dated. 08/04/2015 for manufacturing of Steel ingot @ 72000 MTA, TMT Bars, Flats @ 72000 MTA.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; margin: 9.8pt 5.6pt .0001pt 11.55pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The industry has got its EC amended vide SEIAA letter no. 44 dated 12/01/2023 from SEIAA, Punjab. The details of the amendments in EC are pasted in the agenda note.</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-top: 9.8pt; text-indent: 87.7pt; line-height: 115%; tab-stops: 7.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Board vide letter no. 1955-57 dated 18/01/2023 has informed that department of Water Resources (RD and GR), Central Ground Water Authority, Ministry of Jal Shakti Govt. of India, New Delhi under Section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 has issued directions vide order dated 6/4/2022 that “It shall be mandatory for the project proponent abstracting ground water to obtain No objection Certificate from Central Ground Water Authority or the concerned State/UT Ground Water Authority as the case may be in the compliance conditions in consent to operate and consent to establish issued by the State pollution control Board”</span></p>
