<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; background: white; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';"> The industry is a small scale red category acid pickling unit and was earlier issued directions u/s 33-A of Water Act, 1974 vide letter no. 2218 dated 21.07.2022 for closure of unit as the industry had not provided permanent pipe from the pickling tank to the trade effluent storage tank & effluent was being collected in the storage tank with the help of flexible pipe.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 7pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consents through OCMMS. As per agenda note, the industry was visited by the officer on 17.03.2023 and observed the industry was not in operation due to disconnection of electricity supply of the industry as the electric connection of the industry was disconnected by PSPCL authorities vide TDCO No. 624915 dated 09.01.2023.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; background: white; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry has not installed any DG set/furnace/boiler at site.</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry has submitted continuation certificate u/s 79 of the Punjab Regional Town Planning and Development Act 1995 amendment 2006 issued by ATP, MC , Jalandhar vide their office letter no. 612 dated 07.06.2022 and as per certificate, the permission has been granted to the industry for operation of unit at site upto 22.08 2025.</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry has submitted approved building plan from Competent person under Director of Factories act Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; background: white; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">Keeping in view of report of RO, it is recommended that;-</span></p>
