<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent was earlier granted consent to establish (NOC) for the establishment of total project Silicon Square vide no. CTE/Ext/SAS/2017/6660904 dated 27.11.2017, valid upto 17.10.2019. The promoter company had obtained environmental clearance under EIA Notification dated 14/09/2006 from SEIAA Punjab vide no. 39210 dated 22/10/2008 for developing a shopping complex project namely Silicon Square in the revenue estate of village Bhankarpur, Tehsil Dera Bassi, Distt. SAS Nagar in an area of 95,493.11 sqm having total built up area 3,35,886.27 sqm, the validity of which was further five year by SEIAA Punjab vide no. 2617 dated 30/08/2014. The said environmental clearance was granted for use of 1546 KLD of ground water and to install STP of capacity 1048 KLD and to utilize 350 KLD of treated wastewater for flushing </span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">purpose, 450 KLD for HVAC cooling and remaining onto land for irrigation/ horticulture purpose.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Thereafter, the promoter company was granted extension in the validity of consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Ext/SAS/2019/11703864 dated 30.12.2019 which was valid upto 31.03.2022 under red category having total land area 95493.11 sqm and built up area 335886.27 sqm., subject certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>

Ltd., Singhpura, Zirakpur.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted its lease deed executed on 14.02.2023 between M/s Silicon Construction Private Limited as 1<sup>st</sup> party and M/s Hippostores Technology Private Limited as 2<sup>nd</sup> part.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now, the project name M/s Hippostores Technology Private Limited has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, for Building Material Retail Store @ 2650 Sq.m, alongwith requisite documents and fees.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted its CA certificate mentioning the cost of the fixed assets of the project Rs. 648.97 lakh as on 06/03/2023. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 55,580/- vide online UTR no. 0811OP3116496545 dated 20/03/2023 (App. ID. 21526764) and Rs. 65,880/- vide online UTR no. 0811OP3116496546 dated 20/03/2023 (App. ID. 21526762) under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 10800/- is adjusted from Air Act, 1981 as NOC regularization fees. The consent fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate upto 31.12.2026, under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted copy of building plan approved by the competent person under Director of Factories Act.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted its feasibility report of STP of capacity 10 KLD, wherein it has mentioned that the STP is based on advance MBBC technology. However, as per the application form the project proponent shall generated effluent @ 2 KLD, and same will be treated in STP and utilized onto land for plantation within the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The site of the project was visited by AEE of this office on 10/03/2023, during visit, it was observed that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 1.25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project site is a retail outlet of building material under the single umbrella including bath fitting, ceramic tiles, electric fitting, plywood material like mica, modular kitchen, paints etc.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent generates its trade effluent only from common toilets/ urinal within the retail outlet site.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 1.25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has installed packaged type STP of Johkasou of Japanese Technology and the treated effluent will be discharge onto land for plantation, which is provided along the boundary wall of the project and same is adequate for its disposal. The component of STP process sedimentation chamber, anaerobic contact media chamber, moving bed media chamber, sedimentation 2<sup>nd</sup> stage, outlet. Photographs enclosed.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 1.25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has installed 01 DG set of capacity 500 KVA, which is equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent upto 31/12/2026, subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall not start any new process within its unit which may change its category from Green to Orange / Red, without the prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time.</span></p>
