CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2019/9636964 dated 13/05/2019 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2019/9636776 dated 13/05/2019 both valid upto 31/03/2023 for SW pipes @7Metric Tonnes/Day, Pipes fittings @1Metric Tonnes/Day , RCC pipes @15Metric Tonnes/Day by using Bikaner clay, local clay Grocks and cement, sand, crushers @23Metric Tonnes/Day, under Red Category (Ceramic/refactories), subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for RCC Pipes, Manhole covers, Road Gully and allied products @ 15 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Cement, Sand, Bazri and MS rods and patti @ 15 Metric Tonnes/Day, alongwith requisite documents and fees under Green Category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 20.1pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The project proponent has submitted its CA certificate dated 10.03.2023 which showing depreciation of the fixed assets from Rs. 184.1 lakhs to Rs. 150.45 lakh due to dismantling of SR pipe production machine. As per the record, the fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.03.2024. The industry has now deposited Rs. 32000/- vide online R. no. 633826914 dated 15/03/2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (App. ID. 21431072) and Rs. 32000/- vide online R. no. 538974275 dated 15/03/2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (App. ID. 21433236). The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.03.2029, under both the Acts.</span></p>

The industry has submitted its reply of the observations, which is reproduced as under:</span></p>

The site of the industry falls under residential area as per master plan of the Mohali which was notified on 15.12.2008 and as per Board office order dated 08.06.2018, the existing industrial units established before the issue of master plan of respective cities shall be allowed consents/extensions for a period of 15 days from date of notification of master plan which is expiring on 14.12.2023.</span></p>
