<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The reply to the observations raised by the Competent- Authority is as under : -</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">1. The industry has installed one Rula and one petti with existing machinery to enhance its production capacity.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">2. The industry has attached the MC certificate from EO, Nagar Panchayat, Bhagta Bhai, Distt. Bathinda in the clarification reply.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">3. The industry has attached the compliance report of air and water conditions of consent earlier granted to it in the clarification reply. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">4. The industry is complying with the code of practice notified by the Govt., Deptt. of Science, Technology & Environment vide order dt.15.10.2013 which is given as below: </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">i) All the processing sheds has been covered and have minimum ventilation as per the recommendations of Director of Factories.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> ii) The industry has planted trees all along the boundary wall of the rice sheller</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> iii) All dust emitting points have been properly hooded and dust extracted to a common point. At this exhaust point, dust coming here is being passed through a dust control system and is being emitted through a stack of height 3 metres above the roof of the building. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">iv) The rice shelling has provided paved roads inside their premises for movement of vehicles, so as to prevent the generation of dust.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> (b) (i) The industry has provided proper rice husk storage facilities inside the factory premises and the height of brick wall in front of the discharge point of rice husk area is adequate height wall to discharge rice husk pipe and adequate length on each side </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">(c) During transportation of rice husk through vehicles, the industry has informed that the vehicles are being covered from all sides with tarpaulin to prevent blowing of husk by winds.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that - Varied consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for operation of rice sheller unit of capacity 5 TPH of Raw rice / sorted rice with dryer in the existing premises for a period upto 30.09.2026, subject to the suitable conditions along with special condition that the rice sheller will get its air emission sample analyzed by Board's lab/Board's approved lab in coming paddy season.</span></p>
