<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Overhead Water Tank @ 4 Numbers/Day, Flower pots @ 28 Numbers/Day by using raw material Plastic Granules Powder @ 200 Kgs/day, Water Tank Caps @ 4 Numbers/Day alongwith requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has deposited Rs. 37500/- vide R. No. 768444570 dated 28.03.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 35200/- vide R. No. 443590312 dated 28.03.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The total cost of the industry Rs. 10.12 lacs as on 28.02.2023 as per latest CA certificate submitted by the industry. The industry has submitted Udyog Aadhaar Registration Certificate as a proof of date of commissioning in which mentioned date of commencement 15.11.2002. The total fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.10.2027 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and is adequate upto 31.10.2027 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 after deducting late fee / penalty and NOC regularization fee and giving benefit of VDS scheme issued by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has submitted a copy of allotment letter issued by Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation Limited vide no. 13083 dated 18.09.2002 regarding transfer of Industrial Plot No. D-6, Focal Point, Chanalon measuring 500 sq.yards in favour of 99 years lease hold basis for the manufacturing of Plastic products to Sh. Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. B.K. Sharma.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has submitted site plan / building plan of industry approved by Er. Mandeep Singh Saini, Competent Person approved under Factories Act.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The site of the industry was visited by undersigned on 29.03.2023. During the visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry is engaged in manufacturing of Water Tank, Flower pots and has installed on moulding machine.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed 02 no. roto moulding machines, 01 no. pot moulding machine, 01 no. chipper, 01 no. extruder and 01 no. pulverizer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The scrap generated from moulds is again recycled in an extruder and pulverizer and is again mixed with raw material, therefore, no plastic waste is generated. The pulverizer is provided with inbuilt bag filters as APCD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry doesn’t have any DG set.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The domestic effluent is discharged into PSIEC sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry is not using any water in process and no trade effluent is generated.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The water being used for cooling purposes is being reused.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry is complying with the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. There is no complaint / legal case pending against the industry as per record file of this office.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of the above, if may approved, the consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be 30.09.2027 subject to suitable conditions and following additional conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall use the extruder for recycling of its own plastic waste and shall not use it for plastics waste from any other sources.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall not carry out any expansion or install any other machinery without prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
