However, recovery of lead from PbO (PbO2) & PbSO4 requires a much higher furnace operation temperature of around 900-1200°C. The industry has informed that they will purchase only Pb(Sb) scrap which contains 96-98 % lead and 2-4 % antimony. The temperature of the furnace will remain between 500-600° C. But, as per project report, it has mentioned that the raw material i.e. All types of used batteries and other scrap will be purchased from local dealers as well as from Delhi market. Batteries will be broken and Lead, plastic scrap will be sorted out. Lead ingots will be manufactured with melting of lead in rotary furnace and taking out impurities. Plastic scrap will be reused in unit I. The finished product i.e. lead ingot will be sold. </span></p>

However, as per project report, proposed production of lead ingots will be 3000 MTA. </span></p>
