CTOW/Fresh/FGS/2019/9662011 dated 21/06/2019 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/FGS/2019/9661949 dated 24/06/2019 both valid upto 31/03/2021 for the manufacturing of Fire bricks and B.P. Set @ 15 TPD under the name & style of <strong>M/s H.D. Disposable L/o M/s Bhatara Refractories & Ceramics</strong>.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Thereafter, the industry has purchased by </span><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">M/s Gupta Ceramics on 11/05/2021.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Accordingly, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under new name & style of under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with requisite documents. The industry has also deposited consent fee of Rs. 16800/- vide e-R no. 448567557 dated 16/03/2023, Rs. 21600/- vide e-R no. 914375060 dated 16/03/2023, Rs. 25150/- vide e-R no. 814108885 dated 29/03/2023 and Rs. 25150/- vide e-R no. 663690940 dated 29/03/2023 as water consent fee and Air consent fee against the fixed assets of Rs. 147.88 Lacs as on </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">07/03/2023 C.A. certificate dated 14/03/2023<span style="background: white;">, which is adequate <strong>upto 31/12/2022</strong> as per the Board's Office Order dated 29/10/2018 after deducting penalty 200 % and NOC regularization charges. There is increase in production capacity as well as pollution load due to increase in fixed assets. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">To verify the compliance, the industry was visited by the undersigned on <strong>29/03/2023</strong>. During the visit, it was observed as under: </span></p>

The industry has also installed online SO2 meter. The reading of pH was 8.57 and SO2 was 15 ppm at the time of visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Moreover, no complaint has been received/pending in this office. The industry has submitted stack emission sampling was carried out by NABL approved lab <strong>on 09.03.2023</strong>. As per the analysis results, the concentration of various parameters is found to be within the permissible limits as laid down by the Board. The SPM is found to be 112 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> against the prescribed standard of 150 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup>, Chloride as 18 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> against the prescribed standard of 100 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> and Flouride as BDL mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> against the prescribed standard of 10 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup>, which is within the permissible limits as laid down by the Board. The industry is complying with consent conditions under both acts with Environmental laws. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">In the meeting held under the Chairmanship of Shri Vijay Kumar Janju, Chief Secretary, Punjab with the representatives of rolling mills operating in Mandi Gobindgarh Area on 30/12/2022 at 12:00 noon regarding their conversion of fuel from Coal/Furnace Oil to PNG, it was unanimously decided that the rolling mills operating in Mandi Gobindgarh area may be granted relaxation for some time for converting from their conventional fuels to cleaner fuels and the Competent Authority of the Board may consider/ decide regarding extending the validity of the Consents to Operate till finalization of State Fuel Policy or 31/12/2023, whichever is earlier subject to suitable conditions.</span></p>

However, aforesaid clearance shall not be insisted upon by the Board at the time of grant of CTE/CTO to the industries."</span></strong></p>
