R16ASRCTOW3857535 dated 18/05/2016, which is valid up to dated 30/06/2021</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">R16ASRCTOA3857463 dated 18/05/2016, </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">which is valid up to dated 30/06/2021 for manufacturing of Finished Knitted/Printing Cloth @ 30000 Meter/day by using Un-Finished Knitted Cloth @ 30000 Meter/day and Dyes & Chemicals @ 650 Kgs/day as raw material and using Pet Coke @ 4 T/day, Pet Coke @ 3 T/day, Pet Coke @ 3 T/day in Boiler of capacity @ 3 TPH, Thermopac of capacity 2000U & 1500U (Standby).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Finished/Dyed Fabrics @ 75000 Meter/day by using Un-Finished Knitted Cloth @ 75000 Meter/day and Dyes & Chemicals @ 650 Kgs/day as raw material and alternate fuel i.e. Agro based/Rice Husk @ 10 in its Boiler of capacity @ 3 TPH and Agro based/Rice Husk @ 7.5 TPD in its thermopack of capacity @ 2000U. The industry has submitted CA Certificate, Compliance of the previous granted consents, Drawing of Fluidized Bed of boiler and request letter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> It is further reported that the air emission samples of the industry was collected by this office on 22/09/2022 and as per analysis issued by Zonal Lab, Jalandhar vide no. 2728-30 dated 03/10/2022 and as per analysis report the analyzed parameters i.e. PM (Boiler 3 TPH)=272 mg/Nm3, Sulphur Dioxide=257 mg/Nm3, PM (Thermopac 2000 U)=298 mg/Nm3, Sulphur Dioxide=267 mg/Nm3 found are within the prescribed limits of the Board. The effluent sample of the industry was collected by this office on 07/10/2022 and as per analysis report issued by Zonal Lab, Jalandhar vide no. 2897-99 dated 21/10/2022 and as per analysis report the analyzed parameters i.e. pH=7.5, TSS=12 mg/l, TDS=740 mg/l, COD=56 mg/l, BOD=8 mg/l, O&G=BDL, Total Chromium=BDL, Phenolic Compound=BDL, Ammonical Nitrogen=3.2 mg/l, Sulphide=BDL & SAR=3.5 are within the prescribed limits of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> The industry was visited on 27/03/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry was previously engaged in the process of manufacturing of Finished Knitted/Printing Cloth @ 30000 Meter/day by using Un-Finished Knitted Cloth @ 30000 Meter/day and Dyes & Chemicals @ 650 Kgs/day as raw material and now the industry has enhanced its capacity for manufacturing of Finished/Dyed Fabrics @ 75000 Meter/day by using Un-Finished Knitted Cloth @ 75000 Meter/day and Dyes & Chemicals @ 650 Kgs/day as raw material as observed at the time of visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has now stopped the printing of cloths at site.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has now proposed that they will use </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Agro based/Rice Husk @ 10 in its Boiler of capacity @ 3 TPH.</span></p>

The discharge of the treated trade effluent was into sewer after treatment through ETP and discharge of domestic effluent was into sewer through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">9.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">As per the drawing provided along with application the industry has converted its boiler to fluidized bed and same was verified during the visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> It is further intimated that the industry is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
