Further, in the application form the quantity of lead acid battery scrap to be processed is mentioned as 7500 kg/day and no detail has been mentioned w.r.t. product to be formed. The details of raw material/product mentioned in the application form/agenda/noting are not in tandem with each other.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Reply-- The industry has applied for varied CTOs for production of battery plates @ 2000 nos/day and lead ingot @ 1350 TPA by using lead acid battery plates/scrap @ 2000 TPA. In this regard, the industry has submitted the request letter which is attached below. The quantities mentioned in the agenda have been filled wrong inadvertently. </span></p>

This treatment system is of capacity 1 KLD. The neutralizing mechanism was found not in operation as there was no effluent generation however the neutralizing mechanism was found in operationable condition.</span> In this regard, the industry has informed that the industry is required to operate ETP rarely.</p>

The visiting officer has not reported the compliance w.r.t. said violations and has also not reported that whether the lead bearing scrap procured by the industry is well within the consented capacity or not.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Reply -- Now, the industry has made specific area for breaking of scrap batteries. House keeping of the industry has been improved and the industry has start maintaining record w.r.t. lifting of batteries scrap.</span></p>
