RO permeate is used is process. Monthly ~ 1200 ltr. RO water is used for cooling purpose in coating machines. Therefore, total RO water permeate used in the period was 339 KL against the wastewater @ 223.5 KL lifted to CETP Operator & the representative informed that 12 KL used for cooling purposes in coating machines is reused in cooling tower. There is a gap of about 103.5 KL. The representative of the industry submitted that as per their manual of operation of USI machine and stripping machine, there are evaporation looses @ 3-4 ltr. Per basket per tank and there are 8 tanks and on average 1820 baskets are used per month. Therefore, there are evaporation loses of about 30 %. The industry was advised to provide watermeter at the inlet and drain pipeline of USI machine and stripping machine and maintain daily record of the same.</span></p>
