CTOW/Renewal/ASR/2020/12590416 dated 15/07/2020 </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">CTOA/Renewal/ASR/2020/12590298 dated 15/07/2020, </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">which were valid up to dated 30/06/2025 for manufacturing of Finished Knitted Cloth @ 10000 Meter/day by using Gray Cloth @ 10000 Meter/day and Dyes & Chemicals @ 10 Kgs/day as raw material and using Pet Coke @ 1.5 T/day in Thermopac of capacity 1000000 Kcal/Hour and the same were revoked due to non-compliance of the consent conditions by the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Finished Knitted Cloth @ 10000 Meter/day by using Gray Cloth @ 10000 Meter/day and Dyes & Chemicals @ 10 Kgs/day as raw material and using Pet Coke @ 1.5 T/day in Thermopac of capacity 800000 Kcal/Hour</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">. The industry has submitted latest CA Certificate, Compliance of the previous granted consents and request letter etc.</span></p>

The discharge of the treated trade effluent was onto land for plantation after treatment through ETP and discharge of domestic effluent was onto land for plantation through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">Further, the representative of the industry requested that due to financial constraint they are unable to pay additional fee and requested to grant the consent as per the previous fee submitted by the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>It is further intimated that the industry is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry falls in Red category in the Small scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, may if approved, t</span>he consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30/06/2025 <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that the industry will get analyzed its effluent/emission samples from Board’s Lab within 02 months.</span></span></p> |
