CTOA/Fresh/LDH3/2019/9472029 dated 28.03.2019 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2021/13887754 08.02.2021 for 195 no. of beds, both are valid upto 31.03.2023. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 200%;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">Thereafter the HCF was visited on 23.01.2023 by the undersigned and carried out effluent sampling, analysis report<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>of the same has been received from Zonal Lab letter no. 2588-90 dated 31.01.2023. As per the said report the parameter Bio-Assay – (zero% survival of fish in 100% effluent after 96 hours.) was not meeting the prescribed standards. Accordingly, show cause notice for revocation of Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and authorization granted under BMW Rules, 2016 was issued to the HCF vide ZO-2, Ludhiana’s letter no. 1136 dated 13.03.2023 to show cause within 15 days. Thereafter, the HCF has submitted a reply mentioning that the HCF has taken necessary steps to meet with prescribed standards. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 200%;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">Now, the HCF has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for 195 beds through OCMMS. The hospital has submitted copy of an agreement with common facility of M/s Medicare Environmental Management Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana, authorized by the Board for bed capacity of 195 beds, the agreement made with CBWTF is valid upto 30.03.2024. The hospital has deposited Rs. 10,000/- vide UTR. No. 000849348567 dated 24.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981 & Rs. 10,000/- vide UTR. No. 000849353337 dated 24.03.2023 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate up to 31.03.2024 under both acts. The HCF was now visited by officer of the Board on 31.03.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

During visit, the same was in operation.</span></p>

The energy meter has also been provided with the STP =, reading of the same was 79596.9 KWH. The HCF is maintaining the record of water meter and energy meter properly. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 200%; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">As such, the HCF is complying with the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 200%;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of the above, the CTO under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water Act, 1974 may be granted upto 30.03.2024 with usual conditions and special condition as under :-</span></p>
