<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Clarification:</span></strong><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> The project proponent needs to submit proposal regarding additional land for the disposal of treated effluent as, at present STP of MC, Zirakpur is under capacity and is not adequate to handle the additional effluent load of such projects. Board had recently bounded / issued directions to MC, Zirakpur not to issue any fresh sewer connection till the completion of new STP as well as not to approve / give permission to new projects till its new STP is made operational. The project proponent needs to submit ownership of proposed land as well as needs to submit the land revenue record / Khasra No. and revenue latha / chajra alongwith the same and the distance of the proposed site from the existing site of the project.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><strong><em><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Reply:</span></em></strong><em><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> We will be installing electrical evaporator to cater surplus treated water from STP (left after dual plumbing & watering of green belt within the Project). Capacity of evaporator will be maximum, i.e., with respect to Monsoon season, i.e., 35 KLD. Undertaking in this respect annexed please.</span></em></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As per reply submitted by the project proponent, the project proponent has proposed to install evaporator of capacity 35 KLD. The project proponent has submitted an undertaking in which mentioned that:</span></p>

The time period for the project to complete before handling over the possession to end users is more than 3 years, ie. Upto June 2026 (as per Project Report submitted). We undertake to install Electric Evaporator of maximum capacity of 35 KLD at site for catering surplus treated water from STP (after dual plumbing & green belt usage). Requirement of evaporator for different seasons of Summer Winter & Rains is as under:</span></em></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted an undertaking regarding installation off mechanical composter in which the project proponent proposed to install Mechanical Composter before applying for CTO of the project and before handling over the possessions off units to end users.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has deposited Rs. 29300/- vide R. No. 755707979 dated 23.03.2023 and Rs. 28800/- vide R. No. 484159133 dated 30.03.2023 as NOC fee including Rs. 500/- as form downloading fee. The fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate for three years against the proposed cost of the project Rs. 2165.00 lacs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted a copy of certificate issued by Local Government, Punjab vide no. The STP comprising of component MBBR Reactor, Secondary Sedimentation Section, Chlorine contact and treated water sump, multi-grade filter comprising of Dual Media Filter & softener. The treated wastewater will be used for flushing purpose, gardening and the excess treated wastewater will be disposed off through electric evaporator as there is no land available nearby the project. Moreover, the cost of land is too much and therefore, instead of procuring premium land for plantation, the project proponent has proposed to install Electric Evaporator.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The site of the proposed project was visited by undersigned on 29.03.2023. During the visit, it was observed as under: </span></p>

The biodegradable component shall be treated by providing mechanical composter 305 kg/day) to produce compost, which will be disposed of/reused in an environmentally sound manner and the non-biodegradable solid waste shall also be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</span></p>
