<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 127.6pt; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 375.0pt; margin: 0cm -21.05pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of plastic tube @ 1700 kg/day by using plastic granules through OCMMS. The industry has now deposited Rs. 8700/- vide online receipt no. 290192295 dated 03.03.2023 under the Water Act, 1974, which is adequate upto 31.03.2026 under said Act. The industry has already deposited Rs. 8700/- vide online receipt no. 248099721 dated 01.09.2022 under the Air Act, 1981. The industry has now deposited Rs. 2900/- vide online receipt no: 156724523 under the Air Act, 1981. Consent fee deposited under the Air Act, 1981 is adequate upto 31.12.2025 after deducting Rs. 1100/- as NOC regularization fee due to increase in value of fixed assets by about Rs. 9 Lacs. </span></p>

District Town Planner, Ludhiana vide letter no: 828 M2A dated 28.04.2017 has clarified that the unit can be operated for 15 years from the date of notification of Master Plan, Jagraon (2010-2031). Date of notification of Master Plan (2010-31) is 26.09.2011. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that Short term ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for period upto 30.09.2023 along with following special conditions that the industry shall obtain registration under Extended Producers Responsibility from Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India within 03 months and submit the copy of the same to the Board.</span></p> |
