The industry is engaged in manufacturing of Spring Washer, Split Cotton Pin @ 12 MTD, Machining of auto parts @ 8 MTD. The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. R14LDH2CTOW1246196 dated 10/06/2014 expired on 30/06/2018 and under Air Act, 1981 vide no. ZO-1/LDH/RO-II/APC/2012/F-2832 dated 03.01.2012 upto 30.06.2012, extended upto 30.6.2018 <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">subject to the certain conditions mentioned therein</span><span style="color: red;">. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Thereafter, the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 16.12.2022 and it was observed that:- </span></p>

SHF (Shaker Hearth Furnace) for hardening purpose, 01 no. pit type furnace for tempering purpose, 01 no. electric heat treatment section in the premises of the industry. </span></p>

Ltd Ludhiana @ 15000Ltr/month for the treatment & lifting of effluent generated from process. However, the industry could not show any record regarding lifting of effluent. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was issued show cause notice under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. 3-4 dated 31.01.2023 to reply within 15 days, however, the industry has failed to reply to the show cause notice.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The site of industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 31.03.2023 and it was observed as under :-</span></p>
