<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It is submitted that</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> the industry is a small scale <span style="background: white;">green category </span>unit<span style="background: white;">,</span> the industry has applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 <span style="background: white;">for the production of industrial packing material @ 1200 Kgs/day with the disposal of only domestic effluent @ 0.25 KLD </span></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">onto land for plantation after septic tank</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> The industry has deposited Rs. 51,175/- vide R. No. 440905939 dated 23.03.2023 (Rs. 47,775/- under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 2900/- NOC fee and Rs. 500/- as application form fee) and Rs. 47,775/- vide R no. 734938382 dated 23.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981, which are adequate upto 31.03.2030 under both acts after deducting late fee penalty.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><em><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that the Board vide office order no. 394 dated 21.11.2022 has announced Voluntary Disclosure Scheme (VDS), as per which "Under the scheme the industries/institutes/other establishment have to deposit consent fee w.e.f. 01.11.2018 or from the date of the commissioning of the unit (whichever is later). In case the industry is operating before 01.11.2018, the industry shall deposit one time notional fee amounting to Rs. 5000/-." As per the scheme the consent fee submitted by the industry under both Acts is adequate upto 31.03.2030. </span></em><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">01.04.2023 </span>and observed that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has installed 02 extruders and cutting machines inside the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry does not generate any trade effluent and domestic effluent @ 0.25 KLD is being discharged onto land for plantation provided along the boundary wall after septic tank.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has submitted copy of area classification certificate obtained from DTP, Ludhiana vide no. 367/DTP dated 11.02.2015 mentioning that the site of the industry falls in Industry Land Use Zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana (2007-2021). </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted the copy of electricity bill as proof regarding the date of commissioning of the unit i.e. 16.06.2015.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry is complying with conditions of consents granted to it under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">industry for the period of 06 months with usual conditions and special condition that it shall obtain registration under EPR rules within 01 month.</span></span></p>
