CTOW/Fresh/PTA/2018/7760988 dated 20/07/2018 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/PTA/2018/7760869 dated 20/07/2018, both were valid upto 30-09-2022 for manufacturing of Ready Hot Mix @ 500 Metric Tonnes/Day (installed capacity) by using Bitumen @ 18 Metric Tonnes/Day, Filler @ 112.50 Metric Tonnes/Day, Crushed stone aggregates of different sizes @ 120 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material under orange category with certain conditions mentioned therein.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Thereafter, the industry was issued show cause notice for violation of provision of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide this office letter no. 3462 dated 21.12.2022 for its failure to get its consents renewed. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Ready Hot Mix @ 500 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Bitumen @ 18 Metric Tonnes/Day, Filler @ 112.50 Metric Tonnes/Day, Crushed stone aggregates of different sizes @ 120 Metric Tonnes/Day under orange category with requisite documents. The industry has deposited Rs. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>29400/- vide UTR no. N020232297573482 dated 20.01.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>29400/- vide UTR no. N020232297592224 dated 20.01.2023 under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has also deposited Rs. 1800/- vide UTR No. N020232297590101 dated 20.01.2023 as NOC regularization fee. The total consent fee (including penalty fee) deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.12.2027 against the fixed assets of Rs. 89.48 lakhs as on 10.01.2023 as per CA certificate submitted by the industry. The industry has submitted compliance report of the consent conditions earlier granted to it under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide office order no. 443 dated 09.08.2021 has decided in suppression of Board’s office order no. SEE(HQ)/F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 02.02.2016 has decided to extend the facility for auto generated renewal to all categories of small scale industries/projects without inspection/physical verification of the environmental parameters at the time of submission of such applications. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry is complying with provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended upto 30.09.2027 for manufacturing of Ready Hot Mix @ 500 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Bitumen @ 18 Metric Tonnes/Day, Filler @ 112.50 Metric Tonnes/Day, Crushed stone aggregates of different sizes @ 120 Metric Tonnes/Day under orange category with subject to suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</span></p> |
