The industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which are valid upto 31.03.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-right: -1.1pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.55pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry was issued show cause notice for revocation of consent granted Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith show cause notice for violation of provisions of Hazardous & other Wastes Rules, 2016 with hearing before Chairman of the Board on 16/12/2022. </span></p>

After hearing, the officers of the Board and considering the material facts on record, the Chairman of the Board ex-party decided that:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-right: -1.1pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.55pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Now, the unit has applied for obtaining CTO under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act,1981 through OCMMS with relevant documents. He unit has deposited Rs 4,20,000/- as CTO fees under each Act .The fee submitted is adequate upto 31.03.2024. Further, to verify the facts of the application and compliance , the unit was visited by the undersigned on 31.03.2023 and it was observed as under:- </span></p>
