CTOA/Renewal/NWS/2019/10306055 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/NWS/2019/10306259 dated 28.06.2019, which are valid upto 30.09.2023. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white;">Now the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited Rs. 10800/- vide receipt no. 43687733 dated 01.04.2023 under Air Act, Rs. 84500/- vide receipt no. 939235949 dated 01.04.2023 under Water Act. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2024. The industry has submitted CA Certificate, earlier granted consents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry has installed 02 no. Shelling Section, 02 No. Dryers with cyclone separator as APCD. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt -4.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>It is further submitted that Board issued order vide no. CEE (HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries. The industry is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry falls in Orange category in small scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Hoshiarpur.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white;">May if approved, the consents to operate granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted up to 30.09.2024 with suitable conditions along with following special conditions that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white;">1. The industry will submit its air emission analysis report from the Board lab in the next coming season.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white;">2. The industry shall not make any expansion within the unit without prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white;">3. The industry shall ensure the compliance of the code of practices prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
