Earlier the industry was granted consent to operated under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. </span>CTOW/Renewal/LDH1/2018/7509662 dated 24/5/2018 valid upto 30.06.2023 <span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span>CTOA/Renewal/LDH1/2019/10075147 dated 12/6/2019 valid upto 30.6.2023.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;"> Now the industry has applied for renewal ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents and fees.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.1pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">The industry has submitted Latest CA Certificate regarding value of Fixed Assets as on 28-02-2023, Compliance report Air and Water, Agreement, record and detail of addition in Plant and machinery. The documents submitted by the industry may kindly be perused.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 30.6pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="line-height: 24px;">The fee submitted by the industry is valid upto 30.6.2028. The industry was visited by AEE and EE of this office on 3.4.2023 & verified the above mentioned facts and also verified as details given below:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">The industry has made an agreement with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., (CETP) for lifting of trade effluent @ 50000 Ltr/month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">The industry has provided two storage tank for effluent of capacity approx. 5000 Ltr each.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">The industry has installed water meter in the process area.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">The industry has maintained the record of water meter reading and effluent lifted by M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., properly and regularly. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">The industry has already submitted approved building plan prepared by the Competent Person from Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px;">The industry is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> In view of above, it is recommended that the renewal 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with suitable condition.</span></p>
