<p>The copy of SCN has been sent through whatsapp to the representative of the industry.</p>
<p>Further, the authorization under HWM Rules, 2016 granted to the industry has expired on 30.06.2022. </p>
<p>The industry was also issued a pass book under rule 6 of the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management & Trans-boundary Movement) Rules,2016 for procurement and reprocessing of used lead acid batteries plates, lead scrap/ashes etc. @ 6000 MT/year as specified in category 9.1 and 9.2 of schedule I and category at serial no. 17 of Schedule IV of the said Rules for the manufacturing of Lead Ingots / Purified Lead @ 500MT/year subject to suitable conditions. The registration no. of the industry is Reg/PPCB/2017-22/F-131 dated 25/10/2017 which has expired on 24/10/2022.</p>

<p>EC=80(violation of Air, water and HWM)*197 (no. of days between hearing dated 11.08.2022 and last visit dated 23.02.2023)*0.5 (small red)*1*100 (small red)</p>

<p>however, EC as per CPCB guideline shall be minimum Rs 5000/- day</p>
<p>hence EC= 5000* (197)</p>
<p>EC= Rs 9,85,000/-</p>
