CTOW/Fresh/SAS/2022/19951806 dated 19.10.2022 which was valid upto 31.03.2023 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2022/19952746 dated 25.10.2022 which was valid upto 31.03.2023 for manufacturing of DAL 50 Liter/day, RICE 100 Kgs/day, CHHAPATI 200 Numbers/Day, VEGETABLES & SNACKS 100 Kgs/day by using RICE 100 Kgs/day, FLOUR 100 Kgs/day, PULSES 50 Kgs/day, VEGETABLES 100 Kgs/day as a raw material subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of DAL 50 Liter/day, RICE 100 Kgs/day, CHHAPATI 200 Numbers/Day, VEGETABLES & SNACKS 100 Kgs/day by using RICE 100 Kgs/day, FLOUR 100 Kgs/day, PULSES 50 Kgs/day, VEGETABLES 100 Kgs/day as a raw material alongwith requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has earlier deposited Rs. 38,900/- vide R no. 446301463 dated 01.10.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution)Act, 1974 and Rs. 38,400/- vide R no. 617288972 dated 01.10.2022. The industry has submitted NOC regularization fee amounting to Rs 6400/- vide receipt no. no. 94332016 dated 13.09.2022. The industry has submitted bill of PSPCL as proof of date of commissioning as per which date of connection is 09.01.2022. After deduction of late fee, the Consent to Operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 is adequate till 31.12.2026.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The site of the industry was visited on 04.04.2023. During the visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided LPG fired chullahs and coal fired tandoors at first floor. The industry has provided proper ducting to capture the fugitive emission generated during cooking operation and further the fugitive emission are passing through fabric filters before discharging into atmosphere.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry is complying with the conditions of the earlier granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 31.12.2026 subject to suitable terms and condition and additional conditions that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level2 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall not start any new process within its unit which may change its category from Green to Orange / Red, without the prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level2 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall not generate & discharge any trade effluent. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level2 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time.</span></p>
