The industry recovers Distillers Dried Grains with Soluble (DDGS), from the spent wash, which is sold out in the market being by product. The designed feed rate of MEE is 494 KLD and designed capacity is that on feeding effluent of 3.5 % concentration, the MEE concentrate will be of 28-35% concentration. The reading of water meter provided on MEE feed was 7069100 m3, on MEE condensate was 41513 m3 and on the line leading MEE condensate to liquidfication and reading was 21622 m3. MEE condensate is send to ETP inlet and to liquidfication. The industry has not installed water meter on the MEE concentrate. The industry is not maintaining record of these water meters and the representative was advised to do so to adjudge efficiency of MEE and material balance.</span></p>

The industry has provided water meter over the line leading from Anaerobic digestor and reading was 774467 m3 and industry has also provided a water meter on the line from where the effluent from anaerobic digestor is recycled back to neutralization tank and reading was 220888 m3. The industry has also installed water meter on the RO reject line and RO permeate line and reading was 99791.96502 m3 and 324239.9 m3 respectively. The industry has provided online monitoring system for the RO permeate for the parameters such as BOD, COD, pH, TSS. and values of the same were noted as COD=0.28 mg/l, BOD= 0.05 mg/l, pH=6.18, TSS = 0.22 mg/l. The probe of OCEMS was inserted in a tank of water and not on the pipeline carrying RO permeate, hence not in accordance with the guidelines of CPCB. The effluent samples from the RO permeate, Equalization tank of ETP, MEE feed, MEE condensate and MEE concentrate was collected and send to HO lab for analysis. The representative submitted copy of certificate given by M/s Sidhant Brick Kiln, Derabassi; M/s Singla Brick Traders, Derabassi; M/s Shri Krishna Bricks, Derabassi; M/s Punjab Brick Kiln, Derabassi; M/s Kalgidhar Brick kiln, derabassi; M/s Punjab brick Udyog, Derabassi that they are using flyash from M/s Rajasthan Distillery. However, the industry has not executed an agreement for disposal of the same with the brick kilns. The industry is maintaining the record of generation of ash generated and quantity of ash disposed and the representative was advised to keep record of ash lying balance. The representative informed that on an average basis 125-130 TPD rice husk is used in boiler and 23-25 TPD fuel ash is generated. The industry has installed online continuous emission monitoring system with the stack of boiler. The industry is also using coal as fuel in the boiler and has installed coal pulverizer which is provided with bag filter house as APCD and stack of adequate height. </span></p>

Thereafter the Consent to Operate were renewed with the same terms and conditions. However, the industry is yet to increase the MEE capacity. Presently, also considering 24 hrs per day operation of the MEE, the capacity of MEE = 494 KLD (20.58KL/hr*24hr) and as per the material balance statement, 468 KLD thin slop is being fed into MEE for generating 110 KLPD alcohol. Hence, MEE installed by the industry is just sufficient to treat the wastewater and if there is any defect occurred in the MEE, then there are very much chances that the industry shall discharge its untreated waste water there is a need to increase the capacity of MEE.</span></p>
